Moscow and St. Petersburg won World Travel Awards 2020

Moscow and St. Petersburg have won one of the most prestigious travel awards - World Travel Awards. The gala award ceremony was held online in the Russian capital. Among others Ms. A.Priante, Regional Director for Europe of the UN World Tourism Organization, has congratulated Russians on this occasion.

For the second year in a row Moscow won in the nomination “Leading Travel Destination of the World: City" in competition with such cities as London, New York, Paris, Rio de Janeiro and others.

St. Petersburg won in the category "Leading Cultural City Destination". St. Petersburg has been awarded the World Travel Awards also multiple times. The city is home to world-famous museums, theaters, palaces and park ensembles, new tourist places and routes are opening.

Additionally the Crimean hotel Mriya Resort & Spa became the winner in the nomination "The World`s Leading Leisure Resort 2020" for a fourth year in a row.
